Here’s a little update. We now have a Panty Wagon! That’s right, its a mobile undies display on a wagon, constructed entirely from bamboo!  Now I am free to roam and sling underpants. You can find me again this year at the Pickathon August 5-8, then Beloved August 12-15.

This monkey is relocating to Eugene to finish a degree in Theater Arts and Costume Design. Don’t worry though- you can still get a hold of me pretty easy, so don’t hesitate! You can catch me at Eugene Saturday Market every weekend.

My spirit is still high in those mountains just off the Oregon coast…

My time at Beloved was truly blessed. I am so grateful for all the people who showed up with their most elevated selves…

I came with the intention to be of service, and that was all I needed. The entire weekend, I found myself completely taken care of!

I brought my little case of goodies, mostly undies and a few pairs of leggings and pants. Did a little trade, made a few sales, and also took the opportunity to give some things away! It felt so good to be generous. Many thanks to those of you that shared yourselves with me and others! Check out the pics on flickr here

Next up, Symbiosis Gathering down near Yosemite in California. I’ll be working with Sew-Op, assisting attendees in crafting their very own costumes from recycled clothes! Sounds exciting, eh? I do hope you’ll check it out, or hit me up later for some fabulous photos.

I just fell across 5 more yards of black bamboo fabric and tons of useful scraps! This means more beautiful booty shorts for more beautiful booties! This also means that I get to continue experimenting with different shapes and styles, which is one of my undying pleasures…

All I can say is WOW! How bout that Pickathon? If we met this last weekend out at Pendarvis Farm, allow me to thank you again for your presence! You made my weekend the miracle that it was…. Please bear with me as I continue wih my Japanese at PCC, in addition to my attendance to Beloved, a sacred art and music festival, happening next weekend, outside of Eugene, OR. I hope you cna make it out! Also look for me at Symbiosis, just near Yosemite National Park in Northern Cali. That’ll be in mid-September.

In other news, I’ve decided to steer this monkey-train towards a full-on degree in costuming! Yes indeed, it’s bound to be an adventure. In the meantime, I am still working on the undies thing, trying to get it up on its feet. And the mobile sewing studio on a bike? Coming your way soon!

Hi all

Back now from the Magical East, trying to catch up to life back here where we speak the English. In case you didn’t hear, I was granted a tremendous opportunity to explore Kyoto for a whole week with three of my best buds: Gabe, Jack, & Aaron. We have been working together on a new project we call S.C.I.E.N.C.E. This trip is our first experiment! And it was awesome! We had incredibly good fortune throughout the journey, and found many treasures along the way, the most valuable being new friends good noodle shops.

Now, back in Portland, we are taking up the mighty task of presenting our work to you in a full-on, bona fide First Thursday art show! This is sure to be an evening of delight and delicious, with costume, photography, painting, illustration, libation, and even some yummy treats, all with an Eastern Flair!
